Why Rockbridge Recovery?

How We Help
The services we provide are aimed at reducing the stigma that prevents people from getting help. We operate a Recovery Program that is the “hub” from which we provide peer recovery support services and promote a positive culture of recovery from substance use disorders.

Who We Are
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, peer-run organization that serves Rockbridge County. Rockbridge Recovery is composed of individuals who have overcome substance use, mental health, and trauma-related challenges who serve as recovery mentors.

Our Staff
Peer Recovery Specialists (PRS) are
self-identified person with lived experience of mental health, psychological trauma and/or
substance use. They have been
trained to support those who struggle abuse, Their personal experience of these challenges provide Peer Recovery Specialists with expertise that professional training cannot replicate.
